Hello! I’m Tasha, also known as ‘tamershadow’, or Tamer, or even Tamey!
A lot of you may know me either from games or from streaming or maybe even from writing back when I used to write stories and blog.
I’m a millennial who enjoys video games, reading fantasy and science fiction, gardening, and learning languages. I love writing and have an interest in medical anatomy. I like heavy metal music and get excited with stationery and makeup. I’ve recently also rekindled my love for coloring. I’m definitely an introvert who is quite happy staying at home but can also be coaxed into going outside for food.
My love for writing started as a curiosity on how authors went about writing books. I was probably around 10 years old hooked on Nancy Drew. I started trying to write stories then and also trying my hand at poetry. I’d like to say I was good at it, but those poems are probably cringey now HAHA. I started writing an actual novel at around 13, but never finished it. In my 20s, I revisited the hobby as a blogger and had a beauty blog that did pretty well, but I took a break and never revived the blog. I also wrote a short story around the time, but since haven’t been able to seriously revisit creative writing.
I started gaming at a young age, growing up with a dad who still had his old Atari (Pacman and Space Invaders!!). I played Battle Realms, Warcraft III, and The Sims as a young girl, then gamed with my sister as a teenager on the Playstation and Playstation 2. Our favorite games were Tekken, Metal Gear, and Dynasty Warriors. My first MMO was Ragnarok, which I played in 2003 before moving to an MMO called Fairyland. I played Fairyland with my mom and sister for a while before they shut the servers down </3
After losing Fairyland, I stopped gaming to focus on IRL as I was applying to universities. I went to De La Salle University and graduated with a BA in International Studies, Major in Japanese Studies. After that, I worked for a Korean company, teaching English via phone and giving feedback online. I didn’t stay there long, and eventually moved to work for the top online stock brokerage firm in the Philippines. I worked there for just shy of 13 years in the Sales and Customer Support Department, before resigning in 2025.
When COVID hit back in 2020 and we were all forced to work from home, it gave me the opportunity to get back into gaming. I bought an [now old potato] MSI laptop, which in hindsight was NOT a gaming laptop at all, but what did I know? With it, I rediscovered my love for games like Sims (4), and I fell in love with games like Stardew Valley, and of course – Skyrim.
That love for Skyrim, coupled with reconnecting with my 2 college girl friends (and wanting to play MMOs together) led me to discover The Elder Scrolls Online. I picked it up in late July of 2021 and I have not looked back since (nor have I finished Skyrim
). In late January 2022 – after the ESO global reveal that year, I decided to stream the Elder Scrolls Online. The channel grew very slowly but steadily; and in that time, I found such a wonderful (and chaotic) community. From then, I made the official ESO Stream team in November 2024 and officially became a Twitch Partner in March 2025.
Nowadays, you can still catch me playing ESO as it is my favorite MMO. I also play Infinity Nikki a lot as well as other games like the Two Point series off stream. I’ve also rekindled my love for coloring, which I do a lot during my spare time. I am also working on plans for expanding content for stream and other content outside of Twitch 🙂
